Mentality of SA "Protesters"

24 January 2014, 11:49
What is the problem with these so called "protesters".
OK at times I agree they have legitimate grievances, but does that give them free licence to destroy and damage infrastructure that is already in place.
Quite happy to go and destroy all the "port-a-loo's" and then go and squat in the bush all around their dwellings. They must really love the smell and the poor health conditions THEY create. OK the port-a-loos are not ideal but at least the c--p is contained in a controlled environment.
Everything about these "protesters" is about seek and DESTROY no matter how much inconvenience it creates for the other members of their community who may be grateful for some improvement of their basic living conditions.
Everything that is damaged or destroyed, has to be repaired or replaced, taking much needed funds away from making progress on other much needed projects.
It seems that the all these "protesters" only want to prove how much they can destroy and are not interested in building something and improving their own basic facilities / needs.
The reference to port-a-loo's is only the tip on the iceberg, look at the schools, clinics, municipal infrastructure etc that get destroyed / damaged every time these so called "protesters" go on their ranting and barbaric behavior. All this (protesting) takes much needed funds away from other important projects that need to be done.
