THE MISSING PLANETS
A long time ago there was a star, but in fact it was a planet and/or anything else because stars, planets and other goodies floating around in the universe are natural objects.
The problem with this star, planet and whatever, was a ghost. You see the planet, as we will refer to it, never had a life but life was imputed to it and created by mankind, in fact, the more cleverest of mankind. Mankind or the most cleverest of that species are not in a position to create stuff in space much less stars and planets but they seriously needed another planet in the solar System to make their astronomy and other figures work.
These star -struck heroes created the ideal planet and called it COUNTER EARTH. They were so wise that they installed their new planet onto the already occupied orbit of Mother Earth but directly opposite to the Earth in case somebody sees the two planets approaching each other on a crash course.
While this planet obeyed all the laws of the cosmos it stayed doggedly on the right path going nowhere but always out of sight. It was out of sight because it had never been seen. Because it was only a hypothetical Planet that existed only in the minds of the wise men and it was their trinket to play with as they deemed fit. Initially the idea of a counter Earth, almost like a mother-in-law was popular but in later years it became a lesser valued Mother-in-law and was banished to the place where stars and planets die and are buried. Counter earth never really had a fair chance in life and now wanders as a ghost in the minds of those earthlings that have lesser in their minds. You see, COUNTER EARTH was only a hypothetical planet and only existed in the realm of ghosts.
VULCAN, too, was a hypothetical planet and was designed to revolve around the sun on the inside of Mercury’s orbit. (Now that must take some guts ‘cos anything closer than Mercury to the sun must be getting damn hot indeed.) Vulcan was invoked to explain certain irregularities in Mercury’s orbit. The planet was proposed as a hypothesis in1859 and abandoned in 1915.
There are others like the missing planet between Jupiter and Mars and is suspected that it was destroyed by the gravitational fields in the region of Jupiter and Mars.
So, what is the point here? The point is that certain planets which were thought to exist some years ago never did exist in the first place. But existed only a mathematical equation.
