Now the other day I sent a new article talking about the fact that you don't have to sit on the outside, you can be internal and lead from within which is highly intelligent to do.
Speaking of intelligent, I have been following with great interest the developments in the mining sector of South Africa. Our president's latest comments confirms my own fears of this issue.
Our president has said that the mines who threaten with closing are effectively blackmailing the workers with threats of losing their jobs if they have to close.
Now I don't know the economics of the mines and how they run their systems and finances, but it doesn't make sense for a whole mine to close just because of a few wage increases that now seems to be effecting the whole mining operations.
If the international companies who run our mines cannot find a solution, then it's only right that the ruling party get involved to address this much needed debate.
This is not all about pretty politics and who's side you are on, it's a South African issue for all the people of our land.
The ANC and the DA should find a way to work together on the mining revolution so that all people can benefit and be empowering.
The minerals belong to our land and to our people. We must move forward and put to sleep the sickness in the sector.
Viva ANC! Viva DA! Viva mining revolution!
