Mud slinging

03 July 2012, 07:31

I am wondering; are there only two issues important enough to comment on?

All Sorts Religions vs Scientists vs All kinds of Thiests

Apartheid vs Black/White vs Racists vs Regimes vs Laws vs Change

In both cases we drop to terrible depths of disgusting behaviour dumping on those who do not think/believe what we do, in stead of living our truth. A good example reaches more people positively than our overstated rants.

It is important to remember that the things that press our hot buttons most are the things we have to rectify in our own lives. We look straight into a mirror every time we point a finger or judge another. The same goes for blame; blaming others implies we are victims. We confirm our victim-hood every time we neglect to take responsibility for our current state of being. This does not imply that people were or are not hurt. But it insinuates that you have a choice of staying down or getting up.

By slinging mud at others we get our own hands dirty.

If we all looked forward, focused on the big picture and strove to a goal that will improve our situation, we will encourage others to buy into a future worth working for. Charity begins at home. Does it really matter what you believe or what happened in the past? We are in the business of living. When you look after yourself you will have enough to share.

A good example reaches more people positively than our overstated rants.
