It appears to me there is a strong anti-multicultural sentiment across the world at the moment. Multiculturalism is being passed off as an impossible dream, some ‘failed experiment’, even by high-ranking liberals like Angela Merkel. It doesn’t work, people say. Racial groups need to stick within their boundaries. Europe for Europeans. Africa for Africans.

To which I say, what a bunch of…

Firstly, let’s be entirely clear about something. And this will probably challenge a lot of people’s notions and political ideologies, but here’s the fact: multiculturalism is not a choice, or a policy, or an ideal. It is a simple fact of nature. Inevitable, and unstoppable.

How can anyone think otherwise? It’s just stupid. You can be a separatist, sure, but do you really think you’ll successfully stop EVERYBODY from crossing cultural borders?

To be a separatist you must accept that separatism will work. Hmmm…let’s think about this a second. Has racial or cultural segregation ever been a raging success in history? Has it even been successfully implemented?

No. Cross cultural breeding happens inevitably. Humans move, the world has become smaller, we travel, we interact with other countries. If you don’t believe any of this will end in sex, you need to be told that the stork ain’t bringing babies to your front door, buddy.

And what’s the big deal with protecting a race anyway? The whole “white genocide” movement is predicated on the idea that there is a liberal conspiracy to ‘infect’ the white populace with other races by making it seem like it’s normal human behavior. All of which, of course, is propagated by the Jews. It’s all part of their evil master plan to take over the world.

Chew on that for a bit. If you don’t believe me, Google ‘white genocide’ and revel in the hilarious literature that’s out there.

And anyway, even if that were true (I must emphasise very strongly that there is no such conspiracy and to believe in it you must accept that the tooth fairy is real), what’s the big deal? Why not have different coloured people?

Oh hang on – Kai Murros speaking up – the ultra right wing Finnish white supremacist leader who believes – get this – that the white race is mentally superior.

Sure, that makes sense. After all, we were the architects of capitalism, fast food and globalization – all of which are pretty much guaranteed to eliminate the white race more than any nutjob conspiracy theory about Zionists.  Yup, our inventions are a cinch to propagate separatism.

And that’s before I even talk about Pet Rocks. Who was responsible for that? A white guy. Who bought it? Whites.

Ok, that’s just a joke. Back to the issue at hand.

I’m also painfully aware of the far left being opposed to multiculturalism. This is particularly painful because left wing ideology asks you to be more culturally embracing, or so I thought ‘til I read the musings of Louis Farrakhan and his ilk. I won’t name names but South Africa is now officially hosting a massive contingent of idiots who believe that white people are here to infect pure black blood.

This isn’t left wing anymore. This is fascism. Plain and simple.

But let’s be clear about something else:

MULTICULTURALISM CAN BE NICE!

Scientists now know it produces healthier gene pools. We should be breeding across cultures far more frequently than we are.

And it’s cool. We can share art, music, ideas, business.

We are so scared of people with different colour skin we can’t see how stupid we’ve become. Fighting multiculturalism is like fighting gravity.

To end this whole rant (I love a rant) let me spell things out in no uncertain terms: you can’t stop multiculturalism. It is a force of nature. It’s like trying to stop South Africans eating biltong. It’s not going to happen.

But we can manage it. And to manage it, you need to embrace it. Accept it. Understand that it’s unstoppable and then understand why it can be a positive thing. It’s not all terrorists killing our children and infecting our blood. Good can come from this.

Nowhere is this more important than in South Africa.

Nowhere do we have the impetus to implement this more than in South Africa.

Nowhere is the expectation and inspiration higher than in South Africa.

I don’t know exactly what Andile Mngxitama wants with all his “BLACK FIRST!!!” rhetoric. But integration is the only way forward not just in SA, but for all the world.
