My father's dying so now I'm undesirable

23 June 2014, 07:31
Good Morning,
my name is Sabina Giuntinelli, I'm Italian and I'm one of the new undesirables and it feels so bad!I had to leave SA on the 17th oh June, a couple of weeks earlier than planned, because my father underwent a major surgery and is still in intensive care, I just HAD to leave asap... his conditions were so serious that my health insurance agreed to pay for my immediate return, after checking by the Italian hospital. Then only do this if there's life danger, unfortunately. My visa had been waiting for the renewal stamp for two months and a half, I have the receipt and everything done by rule, and now I'm banned for 5 years!  As simple as this!

I work as a mosaic teacher at the Spier Art Academy (  Home - Spier Arts Academy ) and I love my job so much, I can't even think to leave it, my students start with new work and life expectation when they start the three years apprentice path with us, and their enthusiasm is the greatest gratification I ever had... I don't want to quit it ever!I started here just 6 months ago, and my life has changed completely and got the most satisfactory ever when they asked me to remain for a permanent position... the Spier have been trying to get a South African professional mosaic teacher, but there just wasn't any suitable for this kind of position and I was honoured to be asked.
Now I don't even know for sure, and it seems nobody knows, what I have to do to solve this problem, I just have to hope and the situation is so distressing...
Please let me know if i can give you any further information to give my case any kind of media exposure, I would be forever grateful!

The Staff - Spier Arts Academy
