My hopes and dreams for a happy SA
Don’t we all dream of peace, love and harmony for all?
I do!
I am a South African through and through, it runs through my veins and it’s on my mind all the time, our beautiful country, our rich animal life and beautiful beaches, this belongs to us all.
My brothers and sisters, black and white, I love you all, you are my neighbours and whether you believe in God or not we all know the difference between wrong and right, it seems like we are making life hard for ourselves by not stopping the hatred towards each other. Can we not forgive and forget? Upon reading the history of the Boer war and the clashes with the English forcing whites into concentration camps it saddened me, all the boer wanted was peace to live and have his own peace of heaven under the African sky. We fleed from the English, we were killed by the blacks and then forced into concentration camps. I don’t think the blacks realised that we had it hard too our forfathers also died. ( in my opinion that’s why the whites wanted to separate themselves from everybody)
The whole world is going crazy, it seems like greed is taking over, countries fighting over religion and land. Don’t we all just deserve to live in safety getting old with our children and enjoying life like we were meant to?
Who’s with me to say lets do it together lets stop the fighting and the hatred, we are all judged for our nasty comments and actions, please say something constructive and helpful, it’s never too late to stop and make the world a better place for our children.
