Many countries have a Presidential retreat for their respective head of State; some even have more than one. Camp David for the President of the USA, Chequers for the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and so forth.
The furore surrounding Nkandla will not die down that easily and I reckon that a lot more dirt is going to be unearthed in the years to come. Zuma has built himself a fortress at our expense and at the expense of education, health amongst others. The land does not belong to Zuma personally not to mention the money used to build Nkandla. No amount of spin doctoring is going to smooth this over and the saying “thick as thieves” springs to mind with a lot of emphasis on thick and thieves. Is no-one in the cANCer accountable for anything anymore?
Do the right thing Zuma and turn Nkandla into a Presidential retreat similar to Camp David that can be used by our future heads of State; that is if you ever really intend to step down in a democratic manner. We as a nation demand that Zuma returns what rightfully belongs to us; we paid for it after all.
