Yesterday there was an article posted by some new Facebook persona called, DarkVoid, addressed to ladies about the modern man. Pure drivel I tell you.
I, as others, posted a couple of comments and someone noted that I seem a bit jaded from past relationship experiences.
Damn straight! Although jaded implies that I'm all choked up about it and nothing could be further from the truth, to be honest.
I've been married once, only once, and never again. I was engaged a second time but we reached a mutual agreement to call the whole thing off four weeks before the wedding. Very glad I did.
Both of these woman cheated on me. The first, my wife, I caught in bed with her boss after suspecting for months that she was up to no good. I played along, keeping my ears to the ground and one morning I got wind of their plans. I didn't rush off to work as she suspected. Instead I parked in our neighbourhood watching and wating.
And sure as nuts, Mr xxx pulls in and is welcomed with a lustful and hungry kiss from my now ex-wife.
About ten minutes later, I jumped the wall, quietly let myself in and made my way down the passage as the two lovebirds were grinding away on my bed. My bed, my wife, her boss, like a pair of pack rabbits on college-grade ecstasy.
Of course I was mad, but I just walked out, and kept walking. We were divorced three months later.
Just before I tied the not for a second time, I found out that Miss xxx was having a wild fling with my cousin.
Now I can tell you one thing, there was never any reason for these women to seek pleasure and gratification elsewhere. I was more than enough man for them to handle. But for some reason they both cheated on me.
I had to deal with the shame of all that, the humiliation, telling my friends what happened.
So yes, do I sound like a man burned, scorned, carrying emotional scars of distrust because of women and their fornicating ways?
You damn right I do. And for good reason!
