Open letter to Blade Nzimande

15 April 2014, 18:31
Open letter to Blade Ndzimande

Dear blade I am writing this letter to the wake up of your cowardly public attack and reference to a person who owes SARS R 16 million.

I am referring to them as cowardly attacks as your lashing was beating around the bush whilst we know that you aimed at the commander in chief of the economic freedom fighters Julius Malema as he is the only South African facing the R16 SARS bill.

I must indicate to you here Ndimande that I know you as a communist doctor who is not only the secretary of the communist party but holding a PHD degree and tasked with advancing the socialist revolution on behalf of the poor and the working class.

Your task is amongst others moving the communism struggle in the current political landscape and ensures that eventually it prevails above these capitalistic conditions that are affecting South Africans on daily basis in particular the poor and working class.

Your public stunt recently on Julius Malema that he chowed at least 100 million because he owed SARS 16 Million sir, is not only deceptive but symbolizes a comrade with an irrational political efficacy.

I am saying this because it is in the public domain that the actual money owed to SARS was 4 Million and has been escalated to R16 million by penalties and the 200% interest, what I am sure of is that you made your statement whilst knowing exactly the truth in this matter.

No matter how you may hate Julius Malema , we know how desperate you are to secure votes and most probably to remain relevant and secure your cabinet post but that should not be a motivation for an old academic like you sir to lie at the face of the truth and distort realities.

As per my reminder above of the expectation of your role in the SACP , I must indicate as a former member of the SACP that you have divorce your mandate and taken a position of the defender for the capitalistic government that governs our country which is non-beneficiary to the poor and the working class.

Under your leadership the SACP has been politically “non- existent “and perfectly categorized as an NGO by many political intellectuals.

You have failed to improve the lives of the working class and the poor and never used the SACP as the mouth piece in advocating for better living and working conditions.

When the workers were protesting for better living and working conditions at Marikana they were killed but the so called ‘vanguard’ for the working class remained mum with no intervention.

The poor of the poorest are killed every day when they embark in the protests for service delivery but you are distanced from their issues, but when Julius Malema challenges the government - corruption you are agitated to go all out and attack like your life depends on it.

Well I know the benefit of your immediate role but it should not be at the expense of the people of South Africa.

You are a cabinet minister responsible for education and the standard of education in our country has detoriated.

Where is the quality education? Can we compare the quality of our education with that of the neighbouring countries? Why are we still paying high tuition fees at tertiary institutions whilst the freedom charter record free education.

Well I applaud the Economic freedom Fighters on its founding pillars and manifesto especially those of free education until first degree and the actual salary improvements it advocates across all sectors especially the R 12 500.00 for mine workers.

I support the EFF for minimum wage for private security guards of R 7500,Farm workers R 5000, petrol attendants R 5000,Cleaners R4500 domestic workers R4500,Retail workers R 5000, Manufacturing workers R 6500..and the improvement of the social grants in particular the old aged pension to be increased to R 2600 Per month and R600 for the child support grant.

These are socio economic issues sir that you have failed to address in a period of five years, in particular the crisis in education. In the past three months or so you have positioned yourself as an attacker against every politician, chapter 9 institutions, the public protector’s office and trade unions that criticizes the government or the head of state even though the criticisms were constructive.

I understand that you may still be carrying the principles of the then Inkatha Freedom Party violent members as a former member of IFP during the KZN Violent era but I put it to you that your current conduct is non-fashionable and not advancing the struggle towards a better South Africa, therefore you must leave JULIUS MALEMA and the EFF to advance the struggle for economic emancipation and make the lives of South Africans better.
