So let me first start by saying, WOW.
Oscar the golden boy of South African Paralympics, the first paralympian to run in the Olympics.
He has accomplished so much and has earned the respect of all South Africans and athletes across the world. He has been a role model for the young generation and a good one at that,
When I heard the "Oscar starts Valentine’s Day off with a BANG" headline I thought it was a joke, then when I got onto New24 and read the story I was shocked. I mean really, I never thought the man could hurt a fly and if the stories are true it sounds very dodge, 4 shots were fired it seems to me at first glance that this story is yet to come out with the full details of what actually happened and in all respects dose not sound like self defense more so like plain straight forward murder to me.
All I do know is I will be following this story very very closely to see how it unfolds.
On that note my thoughts and prayers go to the victim’s family today and I hope that this gets cleared up soon. This has been a shock to us all and something I can guarantee not one of us thought would have ever been possible , just goes to show that no one’s is actually who we think they are and anyone is capable of doing anything.
Let’s see how this story unfolds and I hope it’s not going to be as bad as it looks like it is going to be.........
