“The rainbow nation is "eating itself slowly to death", according to the drug and healthcare company GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), which says 61% of South Africans are overweight, obese or morbidly obese”.
I personally think this survey was done in government or should I say parliament? I will actually be limiting the results but for argument sake lets say it was done in parliament including the partners to the parliamentarians. The recent findings prove that a government lunch cost millions, what is the definition of lunch again? Mmmhhh….I will not be sued for millions right? I know in Zim if you say anything presumed negative about Mugabe is jail time for you, thank God in SA we have so many rights and freedom of speech, I better use this opportunity before the secrecy bill get passed on us.
Our Pres has 5 wives, I stand to be corrected but they cannot be less than that and there is none of them that is not fully figured (morally accepted term).and none of them is actually following in the footsteps of Michelle Obama who looks yummy by the way, God bless the Obama’s. Anyway my point is if the survey was done in parliament, the results would have been 98% of South Africans are obese, we look at Lindiwe Mazibuko, before you attack me I love her to bits, she is only 32 years old but she looks the same age as the madam herself who looked good in blue. Oh my God, I feel stinking eggs being thrown at me, you can throw as many as you want.
Not only is our government literally obese as we know it but they are also obese in the pocket in literally looting our tax money and looking the other way when serious matters like service delivery and protecting our women and young men against all this cruelty in our communities. When I actually hit the gym and try to lose the access fat in my body all I wish for is if I was just related to one of them and get tenders, I will get myself a personal trainer in the comfort of my home. One can only dream right?
My point is our government officials are obese, both in looks and in the pockets (with our tax money). They always tell us that the gap between the poor and the rich is too huge and it needs to be bridged, wonder if they are willing to help in the bridging by giving up some of their benefits to the poor. I’ve never seen a poor obese person. Thanks to the state of the nation address, the red carpet was actually “full”. Just saying……
