Dr Ramphela Mamphele hates President Jacob Zuma with passion, her rabid hatred of President Zuma is affirmed by tomes of editorial content in which he condemns the latter to perpetual burning hell fire.
In the build up to the ANC 53rd national conference in December last year, Ramphela assumed the role of cheer-leader-in-chief for those who sought to hijack the ANC and derail its National Democratic Revolution.
Her prayer has always been the demise of President Jacob Zuma. You can now imagine her anger and bitterness when Zuma emerged from Mangaung with an overwhelming endorsement by delegates!
No wonder she's contemplating the suicide route of founding a political party. She reckons she's the Messiah deployed to South Africa to save us natives from the Zuma-ANC monster - just like Missionaries of yore came to save primitive natives by converting them to christianity.
The ANC secretary-general Gwede Mantashe who describes Ramphela as a "biased academic" has welcomed her reincarnation as she is now "coming out of her academic cocoon to show her real ant-ANC colours."
It is ironic that Ramphela's strugglele credentials are like those of her mentor Helen Zille - zilch, nothing, zero.
A close associate of Steve Biko and the most immediate President of AZAPO, Dr Itumeleng Mosala, lays Ramphela's claim to struggle fame to the "distinction of having had the most well-known affair with Steve Biko" - to a point where in some illiberal circles she is cast as Biko's widow when Ntsiki Biko is the one and only widow of the late Steve Biko.
Dr Mosala goes on to offer this nugget on Ramphela: "Ramphela's relationship with the black community is a curious one. Many black people, especially among professional colleagues, are baffled by her continual anti-black rhetoric, indeed diatribe."
Let us wait and see whether Ramphele will walk the talk - I doubt.
