Passion4Fashion and the Marisela Veludo Modelling school did an amazing performance for Pink Drive at their Pink Tie Dinner event in Breast Cancer Awareness month at Emperors Palace.
Fashion designer, Marisela Veludo takes breast cancer to heart and when she decided to support Pink Drive, inspiration struck. Not only did she choreograph a full modelling performance, which the audience loved and gave a huge applause to, but she also designed a line of clothing that she launched at this event.
Marisela’s inspiration for the line that she calls U & I, came from the fact that anyone can be affected by breast cancer and as she says, “I believe every woman should look beautiful” . This is why her designs are eclectic in nature and why she designed matching outfits for each dress. Showing through her artistic design how the male counterparts of female breast cancer survivors can be supportive as partners. The performance that Marisela choreographed for Pink Drive tells a similar story and brings people to tears as she explains a love story through fashion, freeze & dramatic modelling.
To help raise funds for Pink Drive and their fight towards Breast Cancer Awareness, Marisela designed a dress to head up her U & I line and to auction off during the Pink Drive Pink Tie dinner.
This dress had to shout out sophistication, sex appeal and class. In the way that she describes this dress that is made in hot pink, she decided to call this dress the Heart Throb Dress. Which is exactly, what we think it makes people’s hearts do.
Passion4Fashion supports breast cancer awareness and we will do what we can to help raise awareness around this matter.
