Paying taxes to Ceazar

26 March 2014, 14:14

The South African social and political sphere is unique in such that there are individual/s or bodies, who have contributed immensely to the Liberation Struggle to free the People of Mzantsi (South African Democratic Republic of South Africa) from the claws of Human Injustice of the Apartheid era. Hence the Country is experiencing so much corruption within the Government Structures with “people” who consider themselves to be entitled to certain privileges. The divisive political arena has turned into a circus and it has traversed into our Economy, and Nobody wants to take blame everyone is trying to explain the “reason” why he/she had to act in manner that favours his/her living conditions, a prerogative owed to by the Tax paying citizens. The Political leaders and members of government are intent to take as much as they can before their fatal fate of political fall. Commissions have been setup to investigate the discrepancies in the governance of departments and even the NPA, is doing its utmost best to lay a hand in the fight against the scourges in the National and Local Institutions that are administered by Heads of Department who insists on a special treatment for their contribution to the “struggle’.

This phenomenon is in contradiction to the 20th anniversary of our democracy, of which the Youth still needs to ascertain him/herself in their Communities and in the Business world of their ability to participate fairly in the economy of the Country. Solution to purge the rising Community unrest  have come forth such as the controversial Youth Subsidy proposed by the State, which has brought forth a debate that is splitting tiers that were once resilient to any outside force. A Proposal that is probably a means to curb the high rate of unemployment especially with young graduates who have no credentials that could entitle them to better Opportunities except waiting for crumbs that fall from Divas table, just like Lazarus.

Communaritarianism or Ubuntu means the distribution of the countries wealth for the Socio-Economic Upliftment and Betterment of our society, it ensures mutual balance of all the affected demographic people of South Africa. Moral obligation is the key that guides people of Office to conduct their duties diligently, with full conception that adheres to the “Mandates” their Political Parties or Union/s have set before their constituencies.
