Personal experience of a lying mother

I can testify to the truth in this article. I was the woman who was the victim of another woman’s ploy of lying about the paternity of her illegitimate child.

I suffered when the man she accused had his mood-swings, the self-pity and the silent stretches in-between her blackmailing and extortion.

Until I had had enough and did a good bit of private investigating of my own. That was in the good old days before RICA and with a second-hand cell phone and a new sim card it was fairly easy to coax the liar out of her lair and into admitting the truth to the “sweet little wife” who cared about the woman’s illegitimate son.

A little lie of my own that we were in the process of suing her for paternity tests and a threat to tell her whole family about her lies convinced her into revealing that she was just so desperate to get this man that she got herself pregnant by someone else in the short time after their relationship had ended and went back and lied to him that it was his child. She agreed to the paternity test and the result was 0% chance of paternity.

Needless to say, after 8 years of lies and deception and thousands of rands of maintenance I managed to set the man free single-handedly.

The triumph was oh so sweet but sometimes I still wonder about the trauma and psychological damage that that poor little boy must still be suffering from after what his mother did.

Very sad that women can stoop that low.

Hopefully life will somehow turn around for him and make up for his selfish mother’s irresponsible behaviour.
