Pets for Xmas: Gift or Burden?

06 December 2011, 08:01

Pets for Xmas: a Gift or a Burden …

Pets are not a disposable item and should never be given as a gift especially at Christmas.

This time of the year animals are often given as gifts without thinking of the consequences…

Most pets are given to children and the parents end up taken care of it.

So Parents:  “Do you want pet?”

Puppies are very cute.   When brought home for the first time and are loads of fun.  But when the Puppy’s needs kick in, the Puppy is naughty and is no longer wanted.

Puppies also become “teenagers and adults” and suddenly the cute factor is no longer there, now what?

These puppies often get left along the side of the road or end up in shelters.

Only get a puppy when you need a friend you want to commit to for 10- to 20 years of your life.

…please help all our furry friends  ……
