A case of reckless or negligent driving has been opened against the driver of Gauteng MEC Humphrey Mmemezi's official vehicle who knocked a teenager off his motorbike in Krugersdorp.
All the time we get told that "SPEED KILLS" but this does not seem to apply to the VIP Protection squad. Why are they always speeding?? No would want to harm Mr Mmemezi. If they drive slowly with their sirens on people will give way but it seems to a show of force. Give me a gun , a badge and a blue light and I can do as I please. It's a power trip.
Just look at the motorcade for Winnie Mandela , they drove so wreckless and when they got pulled over the police officer who dared to take action got suspended. Why are politicians and their drivers above the law. Saw Mr Mbeki in a motorcade one day and he gave a friendly wave.
Come on guys , be more responcible on the road. Practice what you preach !!
