Political Parties: A Parody

05 March 2014, 17:55
In light of Malema's stupid request from the IEC to lower the deposit for political parties contesting national elections, and having the current amount dropped to R100 to even R200...SINCE this basically means every John, Jane, Thebo and Thembi can create a party...i've decided to make a few of my own and with a few crazy manifestos along with them:
Capitalists Under National Treasurers:
This party will not have ANY capitalist tendencies as we don't care about money, BUT we want to have all the money so we can make sure others wont use it for themselves.  WE will make a difference by giving each person 1 BILLION rand so we can finally stop poverty and hunger and everyone will be economically free. IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE!
Friends Under Community Kings: Who doesn't want friends? With this political party, every one of your friends and their friends and THEIR friends gets jobs! and if a friend refers you, YOU get a job and R12 500 starter salary! Its not nepotism, thats racist wena.
Independent Democratic Initiative Of Trust: We must stop fighting and become ONE independent unit in order to move forward. With us, we PROMISE, we PINKY PROMISE that every single man , women and child will be entrusted with a community Golden Credit Card that has no limits (in theory). Although we have R400 bn in reserve, we will treat this party as a national Kraal...So everyone chips in money and they can use each others money whenever.
BUT if you dont have, you can use the Card on whatever you like and there is NO taxing involved! Its not stealing its SHARING.
I have so many more, but if you ever wanted to have a political party and make crazy promises that would never see the light of day (like EFF)...leave them below.

Why I love Cambodia’s capital

There are so many reasons to hate Cambodia’s bite sized capital of Phnom Penh. Open sewers, naked children, piles of burning garbage on every street. Its a dirty, smelly, noisy amalgam. But Phnom Penh grows on you and by the time you leave it will occupy a special place in your heart. Read more...
