Through out history politicains have been the reason any governemnt or empire has failed, not to say that they are bad in the beginning but soon become what they fought against.
Politicains were created in a sense to voice the concerns and thoughts of the poeple to kings and emperors so that the common man might have a say in how things were run in his/her country, but as time passed politicains became more concerned in debateing problems then solving the problem.
Democracy was founded on the idea that people voted and the majority decided, however is seem today politicains are so concerned about fighting for the minority that the concerns of the majority have fallen by the sidelines. This is a failer to hold up the ideas of Democracy plain and simple. In a perfect world everyone would happy but we don't live in a perfect world, unfortunately we have to make the majority happy to have any kind of order. I'm not saying the minority can't voice their opinions but must accept the decision of the majority.
There has also been an increase in politicains fighting each other as if it is a personal battle rather then a logical debate on how to solve the issue, an example would be the USA which is currently in deadlock over the national budget which could lead a government "Shut Down", many might say that the deadlock comes over the republicans and democrats agruing over the healthcare budget however this should not stop them from dealing with all the other aspects of the budget rather than focusing on one section.
In South Africa our political parties seem more interested in pointing out faults then trying to solve problems which leads to unrest in the communities nation wide.
The way forward to me is to have two branches of the government in a Democracy too ensure that a piont is argued and plans put into action rather then sit and argue amongst themselves. If this will work I'm unsure about anyone else can see another option to take please share your idea.
