Pray some more...

26 April 2014, 13:45
With this woman killing her children, I again see so much praying going on, every time tragedy strikes. Bless them, condemn them, pray for them, it's sickening. It's god, it's not god, it's satan, the list goes on.How can the same god that caused it either way bless them for it? What sick logic is that.

My gran, bless her, is a seriously religious lady, that experiences her personal god in a "physical" way daily, or at least she tells me so every single time I see her. So is the entirety of my family. Today she told me how she and my uncle, his wife, three daughters and their husbands/boyfriends, (keeping the delusion strong in a group with one leader and lots of "serving" & "submissive" women) prayed her pain away. With a straight face at that, total belief. My uncle rubbed some oil on it, they held hands and prayed together, how and what about I literally can't image. And it was healed, to this day! She tells me...

(Then I laughed openly, and got the look of death from my mother...)
I full we'll understand that blind ignorance is bliss, but this is something else completely.
About a month ago at training, in class where financial tutoring was taking place, I was approached by a young, white, male student during a case study, not an opportune time.

He lead with a convo starter, and then straight up asked me if I've been "saved by god".

I was taken aback completely, then started laughing and consequently said no. I swear, in 5 minutes he almost got me to have lunch with him, simply would not take no for an answer, he'll be an excellent salesman! If he can peddle that crap, that well, image if you let him loose with something worth while...When I finally got close to tell him to F off, he got up and said "I'll pray for you", as he walked away.

That infuriated me beyond a point seldom reached. He kept on trying for 3 days! But that moment embodied my feeling about prayer.
I obsessed about why he approached me, do I look like the devil resides in me? (I assure you I do not) Was it because I'm from the same demographic as him?On the last day I found out that he had approached EVERYONE! That was cause for  some relief... But he wasn't happy about the three days of ridicule, even from fellow "Christians"...

For the commentators that say Christians do not constantly try and convert others through promise of bliss or threat of damnation, Yoda said it best:
"Disagree you do, off you must f..."

And really, if you think that praying for me is going to change anything, you truly don't understand the inefficiency of prayer. And all you need to prove prayer doesn't work is one simple FACT: not one single piece of verifiable evidence, ever!

So go ahead, pray some more, and watch the nothing happen constantly and intensely! Feed your delusion, ignore reality and slip further away, just stop expecting me to congratulate you for it! If you openly flaunt your ignorance in non-related and impartial environments, you should expect ridicule in return, regardless of who you think you are!
