President Zuma where's my education, Zuma where's my future?

23 January 2013, 13:34

A question solemnly asked by a 9 year old at an HIV/AIDS home in Ivory Park, the sincerity of the young lady was overwhelming to those in attendance. I couldn't help but be impregnated by the thought, "is it a valid question?"Of cause it is; I solemnly declare. I think our Government has grown senile since taking into power.

The term "Government" is defined as 'The system by which a nation, state, or community is governed.', then the question is what system can be there without education?

The corner stone of any system is defined mostly by education, principle, virtue and honor, but primarily by education.
2012 has seen the most bizarre cases in the education ministry or department, with some but few accusing the nature and behavior of children towards education.

I refuse to agree that the argument is valid without proper education in the first place. The level of education has dropped tremendously and floored by unqualified teachers and lacking infrastructure. unfortunately this points back to the same system used to govern us, the very same system created by our government in which education holds no water.

The best business idea in 2012 voted by the 'UN' is one that sees two South African Entrepreneurs create a system to have school text books in an eBook format available for download via mobile devices, I think many will agree that the application will only allow those individuals who can afford the devices or those that have enough finances to maintain them. Where does this leave the poor, those that cannot afford proper education or even have access to it. This is a brilliant idea because our Government failed to deliver textbooks in time.

The ANC has now declared war against the latest FNB live advert, I fail to see how that advert is against our Government. It is a cry echoed by young South Africans to the Nation, asking every individual to stand up and make a difference. However, if the ANC feels they have been attacked it's because of guilt and greed, nothing more or less...
