Mr President, I am a white male (51 Y) and a true South African. I hurt everyday when I see how some South Africans (black & white) destroy our country. It is time that all of us put apartheid behind us and stop blaming everything on apartheid.
I will never vote for the ANC and have my personal reasons for it. But the ANC is in power and the government of the day. So you and your government need to stop talk the talk and walk the walk. Time for empty promises are over.
After 17 years in power it is time to put your money where your mouth is. Action is what is required to resolve unemployment, crime, economical growth, health & education, infrastructure and a better life for us all.
It does not matter what religion we belong to or which political party, what race we are and if we are rich or poor. It is everyone's constitutional right to have the best quality of life we can have within the means of all South Africans based on our social status in life. Every South African deserve to have access to basic water, electricity and accommodation.
So please consider carefully of what you promise us as South Africans tonight as to ensure that you and your government can deliver in 2012. But this is not just about our people but also about our animals. Surely it is in your power to second the SANDF to guard not just our national borders but also our game parks and animals.
We can no longer allow criminals to kill our rhinos and elephants for their horns and tusks. Our our sea resources like perlemoen and fish. It is your, mine and every other South African's responsibility to safe guard it got our children, grand children and their children, for all generations to come.
