Today I want to talk about probability and possibility. God's not dead, He is alive are the words of a popular hymn. Let's look at the possibility of this being true. If there was an infinitesimal possibility of this being true, you could posit that God was not dead.
Probability on the other hand would favour the opposite result. Unless there was a 99.99% possibility of this being true, we can not posit that God was not dead.
Possibility requires far less proof than does possibility. Some of you read my articles yesterday and jumped to various conclusions, Some astutely realised that the probability of me being a god botherer was very limited, and some posited that I was defending the possibility of God being real.
Proof is lacking either way and the fearful will base their principals on possibility (Pascals Wager) and the less fearful will base their principals on possibility.
The reality is that there are none that know except the dead and my experience of the dead is that they don't seem to give a fig, They feel no pain and they sure are not communicating with us.
God's not dead, The laws of probability are that he never was.
