Racists! Stop being so doff man!

07 March 2012, 22:32

"I'm not a racist, I'm a realist."

Give me a break.

A racist is a racist is a racist!

What is up with this narrow minded, ill perspectived, misinformed, neanderthallic thinking in 2012!

Surely mankind could advance just a little further than "Ogga Ogga, you pink, me black, me no like you!"

Every culture has it's 'trash'.
You know? Those thieving, substance abusing family members of yours that are a heavy burden on everyone around them?

Those things are generally the fruit of poverty and ignorance, not pigmentation.

How any sane human being could assume that pigmentation has anything to do with behavior is beyond me!

Personally, I lay the blame for the way people behave squarely at the foot of culture.

When I was a kid (about 500 years ago), A scholar in uniform which clearly showed 'English school' walking past an Afrikaans school could safely be branded 'suicide'.

I think in some cases it was the same thing for a boertjie walking past a rooinek school.

You could almost guarantee an afternoon culture clash without one black, colored or indian present. We would beat the snot out of each other for no other reason other than our differing language.

What did we know of the Boer war? Nothing.

All I knew was that 'Soutie' was a bad word and if someone called you one, you were to firmly plant your fist between his breathing holes.

My Afrikaans cousin, a fun guy who wouldn't hurt a fly, was beaten by bunch of 'pommies' who happened to be driving past him and noticed his veld skoene or something.
Either that or they were clairvoyant because they proceeded to teach him new (unchristian) English words and berate him for his 'Afrikaansness'.

Go a century or so backwards and you will find tribes wiping each other out for similarly important reasons.

Facism, racism, bullying etc. are really expressions by people with an extremely weak sense of perspective.

To blame an entire nation for the wrongs of a few is madness.
With that reasoning we should throw people into jail if they are related to a criminal. "Sorrie boet, you are guilty by relation".

Being an extroverted activist type of fellow, I share my opinions on subjects like these quite often, like the other day at a braai, where I got tired of a fellow using the 'k' word and began to berate him.

Obviously he never heard a word I said,(the trolling session itself was entertaining enough, but MAN does that guy hate blacks!

He stuck to his guns like it was his human right, citing obscure bible versus and firing off 'incompetent governance' stats accompanied by all the 'dumb animal' rubbish that is obviously ok to use in his circles.
The argument escalated to a point where he expressed his desire for a pigment focused toxin that would wipe out all non whites.

The clincher? The guy was 23 years old.

Where would a youngster get hatred like that?
I'll tell you where.

His father is racist.
His mother is a racist.
His drinking buddies are racists.

The guy doesn't think for himself, he lets his culture do it for him. Now THAT, is doff.

I often wonder how future generations will look back on this kind of thinking.
Will they laugh at us the way we laugh at people who still think the earth is flat?

Black, white, green, whatever man, don't be doff.

Whites aint going no-where. Blacks are here to stay.
Maybe on your planet there is a future with segregation but not on this one.

If you want to hate something, hate poverty.
Hate the pathetic education system. Hate the greed of Telkom who make information inaccessible to the nation.

We need to stop turning on each other like mindless idiots and focus on the real enemies.
Greed, corruption and ignorance.
Ignorance is not stupidity, it is lack of practical information and the drive to use it.

Blacks and whites alike, raised in abject poverty, surrounded by cultural propaganda with no access to any haven of perspective, have much less of chance at improving their station than most of those who get a great education just because of the family they were born into.

Poor is poor boet, black or white. If you can't afford lekker clothes, nice deodorant and healthy food you will be insecure and lack concentration.
It's flippin stressful being poor.
By the way, it has been scientifically proven that concentration and diet go hand in hand.

Don't judge people who have to fight a million times harder than you do to climb out of the hole fate put them in.
Help them out of the damn hole or their children will be robbing and murdering yours.

If you don't want a better South Africa, we can't force you but don't indoctrinate your kids with that stupid moronic racist thinking. Give them a fighting chance to build a great future.

Poverty is hell.
Nothing produces demons like poverty.

You want to hate something?
Hate poverty!
And do something about it!
