We need a reality check so every often, more so with the rubbish that the religionsts post here.
The truth:
The Old Testament does not even remotely say that the Messiah would be conceived by god. In terms of the New Testament, Jesus is conceived by god.
Nor does the Old Testament make any mention of Jesus being sacrificed, ascend to heaven and return for a second bite at the cherry to achieve what the Old Testament states the Messiah should have attained.
Jesus himself told the world – according to the imaginations of the Jesus cult responsible for the New Testament – that he would be back during the life time of those still around at the time. That is how his alleged predictions were understood by the Jesus cult who penned their ideas that eventually found their way into the New Testament cannon. It is fact.
Then we find – just one example – the outrageous Revelation 14:1-4:
"The 144,000 who will be chosen at the Second Coming: "Then I looked, and there was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion! And with him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads...It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins."
A clear rejection of the injunction by god in Genesis that mankind must multiply and rule nature. A clear indication that the Jesus cult hated females. In fact the whole bible reflects the hatred and blame game.
Blood obtained from a bird killed in a vessel held aloft flowing water and spilled on skin problems and a live bird to be released is prescribed as a remedy for skin problems. Huh?
Then we are told god wants the hands of women who defend their husbands by grabbing the assailant’s private parts to be chopped off. That from the creator of this massive universe.
What nonsense!
From my side the above reality check will appear on this forum as often as is necessary.
