Religion vs Atheism: Being neither and both at the same time, I try not to persecute any one person for their beliefs, please do not take offence.. if you do, please go take a looooong a$$ walk off a short (but high.. its compulsory ? im not stupid) cliff? in other words, stop reading now and go die, to whatever you believe you will end up facing
I have been meaning to submit an article for ages now, its just that the contradictions of the religious-minded left me at a loss as to where to begin..
Religion is the concept that whatever created us has a form in this world, or universe. Unfortunately, even with my human intellect (possibly because of) and (in)human ability to acknowledge a blow to my pride, I know, whatever created me is beyond my comprehension. This is not ?atheism? and those who jump to that conclusion do not belong in our new society, tolerance of choice should be a rudimentary reflex for such intellectuals, on either side of the argument, ive heard of rather ludicrous referrals to the religious as (religiots). Does that not show that your belief is as rudimentary as theirs? They threaten with burning sulphur for all eternity, we condemn them for fearing their imagination? but while I say all this, something created us.. my conversion to agnosticism was purely because of one simple fact: everybody want to be right, whereas if we look at in extreme terms, suchas (gods people vs the ?faithless?) nobody is COMPLETELY EQUAL to right, with that in mind, everybody is focusing on the pedantics that do not matter.. his name, his form, his language, his commandments(not meaning to single out any Christians), even his gender(lol) .. god created us in his image? I agree.. just append it to god created us in his imag(ination). We are nothing but a dream to the creator, for in the mind, the power of imagination is limitless, and in some abstract manner, creates a reality. If you wish to praise a mortal form of creation, please be my guest.. I see the creator all around me, because everything has been created? please do not condemn me for taking the common factors from the most prominent religions of south Africa, minus the socially inhumane drivel that requires us to lower our level of common sense to that of a primal beast (aka sheep)
be a good person (social limits simple to gauge) Don?t steal or lie dude, you?re selling your own integrity Murder is just wrong.. unfortunately a socially acceptable medium of punishment for contravening these rules are, by nature, an unacceptable resort, as these people are not in fact, on a socially acceptable level of thinking. Its like trying to play FIFA rules in street soccer..
Is there any more to a religious text than this? Lets be brutally honest? the truth hurts, right? But that, being the truth in itself makes it harder for anybody to acknowledge? just as I acknowledge that the pain of realizing what truth really means, convinces my fellows to avoid it, and persist in the inexplicable?
?People are taught to follow, not to think? I would therefore not ask you to follow my ideas, rather just think for yourself? use that intellect that the creator imagined? become a creator yourself.. find a way through life, being able to live with the choices you have made, using your own logic? not indoctrination. Be a shepherd, stop following the herd?
Oh, completely off topic, but relevant(huh??): ?the best decisions are made when emotional influence is excluded?? ?Towelie-2000?
Oh, and by the way Mr Sharkstell, are you indicating that it?s a socially acceptable mentality for an adult to believe in leprechauns? Why not pray for a rainbow to start at your house then? Its not the hypotheresis that sucks bro, its your interpretation of it and also, your rather
sophistric approach to the argument? Anyone who can think further than their freakin brain would realize you are truly, ?all sixes and sevens", you were the catalyst to this article...
