I am horrified and completely flabbergasted to see that Richard Mduli has now managed to have his suspension order lifted and is thus entitled to resume work, if that's what it can be called.
Where are we going when the courts can be so overruled, when obviously incompetent and possibly criminal cadres - just because they are in the inner circle of the ANC - can do as they wish? Is this where our democracy has come to?
I believe that it's high time we as citizens, taxpayers and the actual employers of these civil servants made our concerns known at the highest level.
The time has come to stop this rot, to make it known to the ANC high command that if they wish to make war in this manner on their own people then they shall be fought every step of the way.
I call on the DA and all opposition parties to now unite and demand a vote of no confidence in the ruling party, it's leadership and it's methods of governance.
The country is heading into a very dark place if we continue to ignore what is happening - the continual erosion of our rights and overriding of our constitution by to put it bluntly, inept and corrupt elements within the ruling party.
Opposition parties, especially the leader of the official opposition - Helen Zille - the public protector, all who are responsible for upholding our constitution - time for you to now stand up and be counted or forever be regarded as willing accomplices in this destruction of a democratic South Africa. You will not have a better opportunity to strike a blow for real freedom for all South Africans.
It may also be your last chance, bare that in mind.
