SA a fractious nation

As SA becomes a fascist country it will be very difficult to live in harmony side by side with different racial groupings and tribes. The ruling party feels they are fated to govern this country as it is composed by people who have struggle credentials. Each time when there is a crisis people always refer to race or tribe as the reason for the problem. It has almost become a national anthem sung by each race group white and black.

The killing of a farmer is presumed to have been carried out by blacks. The killing of a farm worker by white. Gradually the murder of a human being is becoming politisized and defendable. The other small political parties have dissappeared and only show up during national election. Our political system should create seats for these small parties to raise their voices and be funded in order to avoid a situation in which SA will deteriorate into fasizm or one party state.

ANC should not dictate as to when party leaders should start campaigning for leadership positions in Mangaung. This is the reason we end up with leaders who are imposed upon people through the lobbying system.People should campaign opennly and debate policies and ideologies. October is very close to December and there is no sufficient time to raise fundamental issues which you want the people to debate about.

As a fractitious nation I suggest we should look at establishing a Federal kind of government in which different tribes and races would decide the way they want to be governed. This will avoid a situation in which we simply snap at one another because of race or tribe.

Recently I read in the paper that the ANC is becoming a ZULU party , and if this is the case why should a vote for a Zulu party if I am not a Zulu. The DA is regarded as a White Party , and why should I vote for a White party which will only look after the interests of the party. These perceptions, if  not adressed urgently will lead to civil war in which the race or tribe is the basis.

We should find a solution to the race and tribe issues afflicting our communities. May be it is time to share the land and its minerals according to race and tribe and have one central government.

This will help eliminate the race and tribe card which has become the norm in the socio-economic and political  discourse of SA.
