South Africa is a nice country full of potential and possibilities. With good planning and better management we can be better than half European countries.
After historic 27 April 1994 we were like Israelis after crossing Jordan, we are now wandering in wilderness. Do we also have to wander for 40 years? White government built Sasol, Eskom, Telkom, SAA. Denel, Petro SA, Transnet, Roads, Cities... the list goes on and on.
Our democratic government tried to build Coega, flopped. Tried Medupi, flopped. Watched our cities infrastructure deteriorate, eg water etc. For example some big cities run for weeks without water. We have black outs. Medupi is taking three years more than plan, budget is doubling. Forgive poor Malusi Gigaba he is just a primary school teacher with no project management knowledge. Medupi is becoming a liability. Eskom is making loses but they have no competition, they need tax money for bail out, yet electricity prices are going up everyday.SAA, Denel etc all live on tax money.
Petrol is going up everyday, Sasol makes petrol from coal, why are they affected by crude oil I do not know. I never heard president Zuma saying a word about petrol or electricity that is strangling citizens of the republic. Is it because he is not affected?
I will not even start about corruption, education, defense force, police etc.
What is wrong brothers?
