Every day in South Africa you wake up to a new dramatic political connected news story. These story ranges from highly important cases to mere laughable funny matters; a typical Hollywood movie story line. The world is now watching.
I never thought I would say this. But I really cant take pride in being a South African anymore. This might be an overstatement. But, the things I used to be proud of are slowly being clouded by BAD POLITICS.
We all have forgotten who we are as a country. This is all because of the Madness that our politicians are presenting to us.
This year alone drama unfold.
Zuma got married, he fired and suspended the Youth League. Julius Malema cried and he is still crying like a baby. Every South African knows the Drama of the ANCYL and the ANC.
Then the past two weeks, there was the Public Protector’s findings. In a “leaked” statement, Madonsela reportedly found that a Western Cape tender awarded to advertising agency TBWA/Hunt Lascaris in 2010 to centralise communications was invalid. How can a high profiled documents from a highly respected institution such as the PP “leak”. Hollywood movie.
The PP's findings follows after Zwelinzima Vavi accused of Helen of trying to recruit him for the DA. This was some other interesting story. Believe me, I still dont know who exactly I must believe in that matter. Did Helen really try to recruit Vavi? if not Why would Vavi lie?
We all watched the News and came and read and made comments on News24 only to be presented with more Drama 3 days later.
The DA march to COSATU head-quarters.
I know the arguments and reasoning behind the whole Idea that the ANC and the DA present in supporting youth wage-subsidies.
But it was very dramatic for Helen Zille to organise a march, surely they could have been other means of resolving the matter without peeple getting hurt. was this this match caused by the "beef" that Helen has with Vavi? I dont know.
Again, a typical Hollywood movie.
As we were all watching that Murray also comes in the scene.
With his Zuma painting Murray managed to keep us South Africans talking. The ANC then takes him to court. Drama-Drama in a Hollywood political movie.
The sad part is that the world is watching what a Banana Nation we’ve became. Surely, this is not the kind of Democracy many of our leaders fought for.
