The current political environment in Zimbabwe is something of a trivial pursuit towards who gets the upper hand after this year’s proposed elections.
The uncertainty of the last polling results were quite something of a mystery. I wonder if a person like Rhodes Njube Lobengula the Royal grandson of King Lobengula, the last ruler of the kingdom of Matabeleland, what effect will it bring during the elections. Rhodes Lobengula is also the cousin of the last rival of Mugabe, who was his alliance towards the struggle for the liberation of Rhodesia in the 80’s, Joshua Nkomo who died in the hands of Zanu-Pf during the power struggle within the party.
The political situation of Zimbabwe is so crucial for the stability of the whole SADC Region, since we are all socio-economically inter-dependent, consequently the success of the other promotes investment returns for the neighbouring countries, who are greatly in need of substantial investment incentives, for the benefit of all and subsequently bring balance in political; social and financial stability in Southern Africa.
There is a proposal which is supported by the Makana Municipality that was submitted by the Lobengula Foundation to exhume and expatriate Rhodes Njube Lobengula to Matopo Hills, I can’t wait of the moment that will shock and amaze Mugabe government, let’s wait and see the outcome.
