Julius Malema is most accurately described as a vulture seeking his next prey. I read today something that seems fitting, it simply read I am not insulting you, I am describing you.
As far as he is concerned he acts without regard to any consequence. His speeches or utterances hamper our economy because he does not have a clear understanding of what it takes to run a business or country. His only skill is in creating a mob mentality and trying to demand a randsom for a demand, much like terrorism.
In a first world country he would be laughed off and ignored, yet in our country there exists a huge amount of desperate people without a voice. I can somehow understand how they would follow a Julius Malema when having no alternative. At the moment the poorest of the country is being promised and lied to constantly.
One of the issues I have with our current situation is simply stated as the following, if the majority of your population is uneducated, what purpose would suit to have that majority select the leader of the country?
The person selected will not be the best for the job but simply the best in the minds of people who do not know any better. In our country it seems the person who can get the crowed to scream the loudest, much like a cheerleader gets the vote, regardless of actual skill or intellect.
I personally feel the best chance for SA would be a black person of integrity that truly wants to lead the whole country into a bright future. I am saying black because we need a bridge between the people. The majority of white people will respect a truly good leader that acts on behalf of everyone and not just his own people.
SA is in desperate need of a figure that will unite all of us.
