To all the atheist intellectuals (aka arrogant &$#&#*) who love to demean religious people at every opportunity with half-baked quotes and half-remembered science, I have one question:
What makes you think that you can understand everything?
In fact, the expanded question is this:
Given the complexity of life, and how far superior humans are to ants, what makes you think that in the Universe's context that your understand of the Universe is closer related to an ant's perspective than it is to the 'true' full understanding?
I'm not going to try to explain nuclear physics to an ant, and I won't be surprised if you have little ant atheists running around and proclaiming loudly to all the religious ants that if God existed, ants would have been born with hands.
I am not religious, but I'm getting sick of people who think they know everything because once upon a time they read the dust jacket to Bill Bryson's 'A short history of nearly everything'. You know nothing, get over it. Whether or not you know more than me or the religious people you love bating is pointless, irrelevant and has about as much glory in it as being a 'clever ant'.
Before you start attacking me personally, please just answer the question and justify your own claim to knowledge. I can't believe you can be so confident in your own knowledge that you feel entitled to rain what little of it you have down on everybody else, but prove me wrong.
