Society has screwed us! What hope do we have?

18 February 2014, 12:21
We find ourselves in a world where EVERYTHING is messed up! People are filled with greed, anger, selfishness and a complete lack of morals (I am not talking about you or I - it's the person across the street).
The list of what is wrong would just be too much - and too depressing to mention, we could categorise them into: Manhood; womanhood; family values; society; politics; economics, the list goes on....
Where do we stand? People are so seared! We have become so accustomed to the "crap" we are being fed that we now accept it as a normal diet. I am saving myself from wanting to give examples. We all know (most of us even have our own views) what is wrong with society and what are the reasons society is the way it is... we can also blame a whole lot of people (even races) - but ourselves. The fact is WE FIND OURSELVES IN THIS PLACE (in a 'shit-hole' called this world) - and most of us would hope for it to change  - for the better (definitely).
Here's the question! WHAT CAN I DO TO CHANGE HOW WE LIVE? what is my contribution toward society (to healing/ replenishing what is already so far damaged)? Or have we come to a place where things are so far gone that we just stand back and watch it fall (with us/ our children and grandchildren in it)?
If we have time - who determines what is morally right and wrong inside of society?
Please let us have CONSTRUCTIVE arguments - and I beg, keep it clean

Bias vs Accountability

Most of the comments I've read talk to how bias the ICC is towards African leaders. I cant say this is not the case, especially when other "world" leaders have been guilty of similar acts.  Read more...
