Some thoughts to warm you up

While we're all busy freezing to death and fearing what else Winter has in store for us, here are a few thoughts to warm you up:

- Crackling flames in a wood fire
- A hot mug of cocoa
- An electric blanket
- Hugs
- Holding your hands in the sunlight filtering through the window
- Oil heaters, gas heaters, electric heaters
- Driving somewhere with all the air-vents pumping hot air at you
- Warm showers
- Hot baths
- Warming your hands by sitting on them
- A warm box of takeaway food
- Chicken soup with croutons
- Coffee with rusks (thank goodness for South Africa)
- Running in place
- Earmuffs and scarves
- Laughing and forgetting about the cold
