I write this article with concern, when I view our government and current events occurring such as the outrage of miner across the country I ask a question where is the leaders.
I was shocked to find out that top leaders within the ruling party have shares the mines and are on the boards of the mines that answered my question this is a case of conflict of interest.
The solution is that we turn away from political parties and let individuals stand independently. Like in America we should vote for our president, and candidates should campaign display their skills and qualification to us, show us their innovative plans and erect the race issue or the gender.
Same goes for the cabinet of the presidency, we must have the power to vote for who we think has the capacity, knowledge, passion and skill to hold office, we need change.
The old method the politicians are using of getting a post coz of loyalty is killing the country and increases corruption and angers the white and black communities thus creating hate speeches and racist remarks from both parties, taking us back and back.
Where are the qualified leaders, who were born to lead? The visionaries who see themselves as presidents, what has happen to our leaders in South Africa?
It takes just one person to change the world if Obama did it with his campaign in 2007, then so can you! Stand up and take your leadership!
