Churches” first do no harm 2” stop killing us!
I have in the last few days read all the comments on my previous post “churches first do no harm, and there was a, tone that came thru, especially from the "so called" Christians.
You see as I have stated before I don’t believe that being gay is a sin and in my previous post I have elaborated why I think so.
However it took me years to come to that conclusion. And for me and many other gay Christians our lives is firmly placed and seated in the faith of Christianity. However I have a problem and the problem is as follows.
As a society we have put people on a podium, to spread the word of God people who don’t do there work properly. Instead of getting people who have made a real effort to study the bible, we get a person who loves taking scripture out of contests, thus spreading.
The word without considering the effects the word will have on the community.
This is especially true about some interpretations of what the bible say’s about gay people.

Now if you read that and you comprehend what is written there I would like to ask you to debate some of the points made , you see the biggest problem is none of you is going to read this and get a different prospective.
Most of you will just sit and listen to the old rhetoric year in and year out. I am asking myself why.
Well recently some churches have been changing the way they interpret things. I am thinking of the Anglican Church and the way they have handled the issue, it almost tore the church in half, just the fact that they allowed gay priest. Was this a good thing? Well yes, these guys were at least debating issues and then went to implement there believes.
This debate is also happening in the NG Kerk but thing being conservative Afrikaners take a wile, but I am sure they will get there eventually, I mean it did take afrikanners only 50 years to get rid of apartheid, who knows ,maybe they would except homosexuals in the next 50 years or so.
In the mean time What is happening when we see our mainstream churches change , we see infighting and people leaving, we see evangelist ,taking those people who are fed up with normal churches, and in typical evangelistic style poison the minds of many, or you see a regular N.G domanie who sees a gap and also.
These guys is responsible for the following They spread hate , they cause incite to violence they get their followers to commit these crimes ,this all toward gay people.
So why would you say am I up in a roar about the guys above, you see this week Thapelo Makutle was found in his room semi decapitated he was murdered because he was a gay person. He was left under a blanket for a couple of days before he was found. Also DS.Casper Daniels son was killed also according to Ds. Danniels for being GAY
You have got to ask yourself Why , the reason I think is that we as members of society have moved more liberal toward gay people and the bigots see this , they the shock us and you by killing a man who served the community, to make a statement of how backward they really are!
Who is to blame?
Well Being a mostly Christian country , I believe the main stream ,and smaller churches helps us ,become as a society , it sets our morals and values it guides us thru every aspect of life by having Angus Buchan, Riekert Botha, Dirkie van der Spuy, Neville Nordan, Izak Burger Johan Louw in our churches we as society have given these people a mouth please to shape us as society.
And all we do as society is move along like brainless cattle, I mean to change society and the way it works ,take a lot of time , this you can see by only looking back at this country’s history , because churches move slower than society, . So I guess I blame some of the churches and I blame some of the Bigoted leaders who with their ancient apartheid style doctrine, still keeps us as society firmly in the back ,
So what can we do , Well I think we should start to educate people , about these bigots and get rid of them , we will definitely ruffle people up but ,then real debate and study can start
Why am I so passionate about what some of these, bigoted church leaders say , cause as a gay man ,all I want in life if to live ,a normal life have equal rights and I want the my friends and community to better itself .
Gay peeps that is Christian, needs places to worship with their fellow Christians, we need the word of God just like, anyone.
It is sad that about ten percent of people on earth is gay this means, you are related to someone, who is gay , it could be you sister your brother a cousin .uncle or maybe your aunt
You know these people you may see them sometime or you may see them often ,but we are all a part of the same society, as Christians we are part of the same religion , Don’t you think it is time to let us in .? in with no pre conditions or stigma , and don’t you think bad church leaders should move on . Don’t you think by allowing this hate to grow is causing a lot of unnecessary death? Don’t you Think it would he the Christian thing to do to stop this HATE for one another?
