It is unfortunate that so many people: wise and lesser wise did not understand the message in my previous article:’’ The equity theory of justice.’’
It was easier to cast their assumptions relating to copy and pasting ect. In fact When I go to Cape Town in APRIL/May this year my daughter will teach me the nefarious and illegal matters pertaining to the computer.
That being said It follows that I am not able to carry out those three, sorry two processes. I have notice recently that people have entered my profile and deleted some of the comments made years ago, interalia The article on Susanne York was badly defaced in the process of removing comments I would not even think about, further: the only copy and paste I use is looking at a copy of myself on the bathroom mirror and paste my matriculant dog with honours . Not even the dullest troll can compete with Just Lord grrrrrr. Some homo sapiens are actually jealous of Lord Grrr.
“The Equity Theory of Justice” touches our entire lives yet we want to argue the issue until kingdom comes and end up like the religious articles on News 24
Worked out, fatigued, tired and stalemated. I have even considered changing my name to RIP VAN DER MERWE, No RIP VAN WINKEL Because I will still be waiting many years for boom to be legalised. I think about 50years will do fine.
In Sunny South Africa we have a system of labour that bypassed apartheid and sought out jobs for certain people only and that was a change-over process born out of our history. Sadly The equity theory explained what happened and became an illegitimate part of that new system. Where is the justice? Justice can only be doled out when an attempt is made to find it and use it: Most of us have read what the financial situation in Zimbabwe is today. Less than a rich man’s wallet. Equity resides in any and every industry and job situation and inherently gives rise to automatically re-lay the table and sees to it that those dining are equally served. That those who paid for the meal are equitably compensated and receive that which is paid for. Simple, is it not. Only we prefer to Squabble, argue, belittle each other and take up the pitch fork against those who we see as enemies while the real enemies are inside us.
While we conveniently wish to call equity something else then that will change even less and an internal revolution will reduce it to what it was. We call, or tend to call it Affirmative action, that sounds good and edifying on the tongue: Yes sir “Affirmative action is controlling us” look at our progress going nowhere, or somewhere but we do not know where! And nor do we know where even after the migration has lead us to it. To us mundane inhabitants, we use anything to just prove to ourselves that we are on the right track to progress while that track leads to a redundant soccer Stadium. Pity stadia are not bakers and butcheries.
We will argue in a lowered tones ala sotto voice and claim that no SOB will ever have my business: like bloody hell: he will be given his share despite the ignorance hanging like a cloud over the nations businesses and heads.
The equity theory of justice will eventually become a lackey and is at the service of, not only the boss, but the entire workforce and is unknown to all, like a ghost hiding in the darkest of corners.
Piet works hard and does his best and looks to the company’s interests. He receives a good salary and remains motivated. Gert is highly qualified, well above that of Piet yet he senses he gets the worst jobs while Piet gets the best. And his salary is less than Piet’s. Eventually a train of events takes place although they are not obvious to Piet or Gert and the events will run into a wall. Hypothetically a man of another race is employed and works with Piet and Gert. Problem here is the new employee is even better qualified than Piet and Gert, there will always be the resentment at the work place yet that very same resentment may or will allow all concerned to grow and be winners
