Yo, yo, yo, my Saffa peeps. Seems The Hux has become somewhat of a celebrity on News24. My sporting insights have clearly struck a positive chord with knowledgeable sports lovers.
Last weekend saw the opening rounds of Super15 rugby. Of course, two Australian teams won outright in the first two games played, as expected. Off to a flyer, you might say.
The smart money's on both the Reds and Brumbies to make the playoffs this year. Aussie, Aussie, Aussie - Oi, Oi, Oi!!!
I reckon the Chiefs will win their first game, and the Reds and Brumbies to their second games too.
I don't get this 'big clash' between the Bulls and Stormers, I really don't. Then again, I don't get much of the over-hyped sentiment with regards to second-rate 'sports stars'. I reckon the Bulls will win it though, not that it holds any bearing on the tournament.
Cheetahs and Sharks? Sharks to choke, again, Cheetahs by 10.
The team to watch out for though, are the new-bloods, the Super Kings, eager to show their mettle and to silence their critics.
That region is rich in black rugby history and deserves all the support they are currently getting from political and sporting circles. It's really a testament to transformation in a country still struggling to dealing with racial equality.
Kings to made a grand entrance, and pummel the Force by 12. I'd usually back my Aussie teams, but I don't care much for the Perth team, truth be told. Might be all the Saffas who've immigrated in there, not sure.
Bring on Super Rugby! Bring on Reds and Brumbies! Bring on the Super Kings!
