Some people on my facebook page are comparing Mandela to Moses in the Bible. They say Moses wasn't paid much tribute to by the Israelites as much as we doing to Mandela. They say God deserves all the praise. Yes God deserves all the praise but that doesn't mean we shouldn't appreciate his work to liberate South Africa, him and his fellow participants in the struggle to get rid of apartheid.
God used Jesus to touch the lives of people back in the ages, through his teachings and miracles he performed to heal their different illnesses. He might have used Mandela and others like him to liberate our once oppressed land.
He is not Jesus, He is not Moses nor Paul. But yet tribute should be paid where it is due. We should stop comparing and start showing gratitude towards all those who have fought to unite us in this world.
I was just saying. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion anyway.
