The ANC has ran out of ideas
The ANC through its chairperson Baleka Mbete has indicated that it has no knowledge, ability and capacity as to how they can improve the lives of South Africa and improve on service delivery.
The Anc says it needs another 17 more years to deal with the current problems and change the lives of South Africans for the better. This is after they have failed to make a resounding impact in the past 19 years it has been in power. Can South Africans withstand another 5 years under the leadership of the Anc?
Young people today cannot wait 1 more years without employment. Most young people will be too old in 2030 with the 1994 ‘Born-free’ generation being 36 in 2030. Young people in South Africa want employment now and not promise of a possible 2030 solution.
The Anc of Baleka Mbete has placed all its eggs in one basket of the NDP which was presented by the Planning Minister Trevor Manuel. This is the same Trevor Manuel who decided to thrown in a towel on the leadership of the Anc and its inert leadership under Jacob Zuma.
There seem to be a huge reliance by the Anc on the NDP as presented by Manuel but South Africans need to ask a question, can the Anc-led government stand up to the task? Does the Anc have the will and the capabilities to even carry the plan?
In 2010, the government led by the Anc’s Jacob Zuma promised to create 5 million jobs by 2020. Since then, he made 2011 the ‘year of job creation’ and he even introduced a R9 billion rand Job Youth fund but nothing has yet to improve. The unemployment has climbed to 25.5% and the Youth fund has been blocked by the Anc’s own Cosatu.
More South Africans are losing their jobs through ANC policies, the interferences by Cosatu and its allies. Anglo American Platinum and some other giant mining companies are now threatening to cut more workers and the Anc has no plan on how to solve the situation.
South Africans can no longer wait for more promises, they need service delivery and they need change. The Youth of this country is getting old and they need a better future but cannot rely or eat promises. South Africans deserve the change. The Anc ran out of ideas, it is time we look somewhere else for change and let the 100 year Anc grandpa rest for a change.
