The Beauty Of Being 30 something

Change can be scary but if one takes time to adapt and embrace it, change can be a beautiful experience. We all worry about growing up; we get to a panic mode because it’s almost as if we are forced to make serious life audits especially when one turns 30. I have lately been blessed with sharing thoughts, bottles of wine and cups of coffee with a range of 30 something’s and I realised that being 30 something is really the best thing that can happen to anyone and below are 11 reasons why.

  1. You are allowed to wear a jersey when you a cold
  2. You are clear on everything that makes you fat
  3. You know that not wearing underwear is uncool
  4. You are clear on the type of underwear you most feel comfortable in
  5. You know exactly how you like to be kissed
  6. You know that making love all night long is nonsense
  7. You buy alcohol and condoms with pride
  8. You know playing hard to get is stupid
  9. You cant tell between a true orgasm and a fake one but you know it has no reflection on your intelligence
  10. You know which relatives to avoid
  11. You have different  best friends for every aspect of your life, a love life best friend, finance best friend, spiritual best friend and health best friend

 Now go ahead and enjoy the liberation that comes with age.
