I've realised that most of the kids starting their matric exams today were born in 1994. We christened them "The Mandela Children". This was because of the excitement and uncertainty that was prevailing at that time.
Now, my question is that; did the excitement sustain itself to date, or is the uncertainty overwhelming when we look at Mangaung, corruption, weak leadership, crime, text book saga/scandal and other similar issues.
Where is our country going to? The President said he can sleep at night, however, has he asked himself if the millions of South Africans do sleep at night, and if not why?
What are the chances that this kids of our democracy can have a country full of promise or where they can leave their dreams?
The way things are happening currently I'm not that enthusiastic. What about you out there? Lets talk!!
