The DA is a liar

01 June 2014, 16:57
I went to church the other day and heard my pastor say that the devil is liar. Funny enough I did not get a picture of a red man with horns. On the contrary, the first thing that sprung to mind was Helen Zille wearing blue.

Let me start off by saying that we acknowledge the little that Madam Zille did during Apartheid.

For those of you who may not know, she uncovered the death of Steve Biko. At the time she was a journalists and I may be wrong but that is what journalists are paid to do...uncover stories. She also worked for Black Sash in the 1980's, after hundreds if not thousands of deaths of Black South Africans.

Yes Madam Zille did play her role during Apartheid but quiet honestly, democracy would have come without her next to nothing contribution.

Fast forward 20 years from 1994 after South Africa's first democratic elections and the DA is the official opposition. A political party that represents a minority of South Africans taking on the ANC, a party that liberated all South Africans and brought about safety and security for all the people who live in it.

How is this possible? The answer is simple. The DA is a liar.

Liar in what sense you might ask. It is pretty simple. The DA are master strategists who do not only play politics but also play P.R. The DA are good in trumpeting their success in the Western Cape but when I was there earlier this year I did not see a single thing to be proud of in that country. Yes I mean country because nobody can be called a refugee in their native land. Clearly Western Cape is a foreign land.

When I was in Cape Town, I stayed in a place called Simon's town. I could literally count the number of Black drivers throughout my week long stay. I felt so insulted when the white waiter who served us at some restaurant asked if were sports players.

It is clear that he has never come across black people who would give him a generous tip. Which brings about my question, where is the "least amount of inequality" that the DA talks of on their website? Why are they lying to us like this and then have the audacity to accuse our President of lying about his homestead even after the Public Protectors uncertain findings.

Is the inequality in the Western Cape measured only among the whites? What I saw when I passed through a good 5 minute drive of Khayelitsha was not equality. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

On the point of P.R, why does the DA let inexperienced black politicians lead them in Parliament when they have MP's with much more experience? It is simple really. They want to present an image that they are working together with "smart" blacks and trying to lead the country forward. This is yet another big fat lie.

The manufacturer of black politicians Madam Zille is using the likes of Maimane to attract the masses of black voters who find a black face more appealing than that of their former oppressors. Maimane is now the Chester Missing of the DA. We saw this with Lindiwe Mazibuko. She was the darling in the eyes of the Madam until she tried to disagree with her about the Employment Equity legislation.

According to Zille, since Apartheid is over, there should be no more redress measures and we should all live together as one big family without addressing the injustices of the past. This is the highest degree of arrogance that the DA shows us.

Yes, we can and should co-exist as Blacks and Whites but let us first solve the past before we look to the future. It would take the ruling party at least 100 more years to fully address past. However the ANC has come a long way in doing so given that they have only had 20 years.

The DA claims that land deeds must be given to Black people. How can every poor person get a house deed when you know that half of those houses will be sold and have those very same people apply for another RDP house. The fact that they do not have the deeds does not make their ownership of the house any less. Again you are lying to the people.

The question that the DA is running away from is that of the real land issue...farms and mines. I hope one day the DA can answer us truthfully about their stance in that regard.

Lastly the DA claims they want job creation in Gauteng. If you really want job creation so much, why not use the R100 million for your election campaign for job creation? I will tell you why. The sole reason is because the DA wants to take over both Cape Town and Johannesburg, the economic hubs of the country. They could have targeted Northern Cape but their campaign there was minimal because it is of no use to them. They lied to the people of Johannesburg, wasted millions and people still think the DA loves them?

Put the anger of the ANC aside and see DA for what it really is. Where does a party that only lead in one province get so much money from? That money comes from businesses who want to do away with "nonsensical" laws that say there must a certain amount of Black managers. DA are subtle right-wing members who will do and say anything to grip onto power.

I urge my people, Black, White, Colored, Indian, Chinese and others to see the DA for what they really are....LIARS!
