After seeing the article today on News 24 "Defencex boss rallies support", and reading a few of the supporting and non supporting comments, I typed in a quick google search on DefenceX. I have also received both an sms and emails from these guys or one of their con artists...sorry, read "affiliates" a month or two ago.
So quite recently, the only cc 'member' (cc's DO NOT have directors!!) Chris Walker calls a meeting at Wits nogal, with over 1000 concerned "investors" at R1000 each, thats a cool million rand for the priviledge of hearing your money has been frozen in a bank account, because it might just be a Ponzi scheme.
Naturally poor Chris is now under "stress" and is going through a very difficult time, like who wouldn't be when R320 million of his ponzi scheme funds are frozen in a bank account?
What gets me is the blatant daylight robbery of todays simple minded people, for a 1st level affiliate you get 10% commission of the money deposited, and then a second level gets you another 5% of monies deposited. Can they not realise that exactly the same thing was done when their money was invested. In other words you are being charged 15% for depositing your hard earned money, no sorry... make that "investing" your money in DefenceX.
How gullible do you have to be, to not see outright that this is absolute rubbish.
A few cocky comments are made like "leave our money alone, we are happy", or even better "this is better than the banks returns". Yes, it might be today, but for how long?, if reports are to be believed, only R320 million is left from an initial R500 million "invested". If your capital has not grown since June 2012 (thats about when dear Chris started this particular scheme), it should indicate that your capital is being used to pay you back. That would indicate R180 million is gone already, my goodness but good old Chris certainly seems to have expensive taste.
I hope that all or at least most "investors/victims" get some of their money back. Sadly as dear Chris indicated he is trying to "lift people out of poverty"...ja right, and I am the tooth fairy, there is a special cell waiting somewhere for you Chris...hopefully you get what you deserve at the end of all of this.
You are nothing more than a greedy self enriching man, all be it a rather smart one at that. There are surely going to be a lot of "victims" here, hopefully you will be one of them...

Both defencex websites indicate the company is based in Cape Town, but their contact details are two cell phone numbers, and a physical address of - 703 7th Floor Sangro House, Anton Lembede Street,Durban, 4000, South Africa. defencex naturally leads you to cycle4dollars.
