The Facist manifesto

13 September 2013, 19:16

There comes a time, when we must as thinking people, take note of the incredible contradiction that is fast becoming more and more evident within the EFF.

How does a communist party support a liberal constitution that currently exists in South Africa, without replacing it with something opposite to its current values?

Now least I be told that I jump the gun, because of course their supporters vehemently deny that communism is at the root of the party, rather preferring the term Socialism. But does granting the red beret wearing militants the softer approach of Socialism really portray the truth, or is the truth once again obscured by the hatred and corruption of these quasi-political leaders who hold their ideology above their heads for worship while they feed off the desperation of those who have been indoctrinated by their mutant manifestos?

I invite you to read their “constitution”, and would like to review some of the values of the party:

“ECONOMIC FREEDOM FIGHTERS is a radical and militant Economic Emancipation Movement which brings together revolutionary, fearless, radical, and militant Activists, workers’ movements, Non-governmental organisations, community based organisations, lobby-groups under the need to pursue the struggle for economic emancipation.

…EFF is a radical, Left, anti-capitalist and anti-imperialist Movement with an internationalist outlook anchored by popular grassroots formations and struggles….

The EFF draws inspiration from Marxist-Leninist and Fanonian schools of thought on its analysis of the State, imperialism and class contradictions in every society.”

So we must assess the claim – is a school of thought that values radical militant “economic emancipation” through revolution, and radical activists with a left anti-capitalist outlook drawing inspiration from Marxist-Leninist schools of thought, by definition, anything OTHER than a communist approach to controlling society?

I answer no. It is about as communist as it gets.

What of the values? Do they promote any kind of totalitarian state ownership, dictatorship, control or central authority?

“The basic programme of the EFF is the complete overthrow of the neo liberal anti-black state as well as the bourgeoisie and all other exploiting classes; the establishment of the dictatorship of the people in place of the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie and the triumph of socialism over capitalism.

The EFF takes socialism as the theoretical basis guiding its thinking and development of its political line and in this respect identifies itself as a MARXIST, LENINIST, and FANONIAN organisation.

Members of EFF, who dedicate their lives to the struggle for socialism [read:communism] must be resolute, fearless and surmount every difficulty to win victory!

Expropriation of South Africa’s land without compensation for equal redistribution

Nationalisation of Mines, banks, and other strategic sectors of the economy.

Building State and government capacity, which will lead to abolishment of Tenders

Open, accountable government and society without fear of victimisation by the State Defence, Police and other Agencies.

Without victimisation of the State defence or Police? What could that mean I wonder…

But we digress. To the question – is this a communist party - the answer is an obvious and resounding yes. This is not up for debate, and in fact on their own facebook page what do they recommend?

Now some of you may have forgotten the red revolution, but there is an excellent article on Wikipedia about it: which resulted in the Russian civil war 1918.

Now that we are aware of the facts, please can someone tell me:

How does a communist party support a liberal constitution that currently exists in South Africa, without replacing it with something opposite to its current values?

And what percentage of support does this party have, among the youth of this country?

Kind regards

Why I love Cambodia’s capital

There are so many reasons to hate Cambodia’s bite sized capital of Phnom Penh. Open sewers, naked children, piles of burning garbage on every street. Its a dirty, smelly, noisy amalgam. But Phnom Penh grows on you and by the time you leave it will occupy a special place in your heart. Read more...
