The Golden Bullet Casing

03 July 2014, 21:15
I have been following the Oscar Pistorius trial with interest and I find some bits of evidence interesting.

Lets start with the mysterious bullet casing found inside the toilet bowl.

This little casing for me  is the primary argument for pre-mediated murder. Both the defence and prostitution agree that the bullets were fired through a closed door, and with the door closed it is impossible for a bullet casing to hop into a toilet, and then get hidden under blood.

If one looks at that casing alone, then one may safely assume the following.

1. The toilet door was open for at least one shot.
2. The shooter was close to the toilet door, or inside the toilet cubicle.

This logic, in my mind is irrefutible. We may not understand how this ugly piece of the puzzle fits in with Oscars nice suit, or the defence's nice arguments and reasonable doubt arguments... but this little bullet casing in the toilet bowl really is damning.

It suggest that the shooter could see the victim.

Further support for this theory includes the hand wound of the victim. It is vary rare for a victim to predict the projectile of the bullet and try and shield with a hand, if there door was closed. Hand wound thus indicate a secondary support that the victim could at least see an attact coming, put up a hand, and try and shield herself from the path she anticipated for the projectile.

Now we can start to theorize on how the bullet casing could enter the toilet. Is it possible that the victim picked it up and threw it in the toilet, leaving subsequent investigators a golden clue as to what really happened.

If one traces the redness of the blood at various spots througout the home, one can time stamp each puddle. Bright red blood indicates that breathing was recent, with darker blood suggesting that blood wasn't recently oxygenated via breathing,  and such blood spots could indicated a staged setting or tampering with evidence by the accused.

I would love to see the crime scene photos, as that would tell a whole lot more.

But the casing in the toilet... damning evidence of premeditated murder.

The closed door story was clearly a fabricated argument, and contradicts the evidence found inside the toilet..
