So the “God Particle” has a 99.9% probability exists…… what does this mean? Simply put it has improbability of 0.1%. Let us compare this to a probability that has many South Africans riveted week after week.
0,0000072%....... That's the probability of winning more than R2.5 Million Rand in the South African Lottery...... And yet there always seems to be a queue at the machine on Lotto night...... And why not..... In a universe of infinity is finite science possible, or more simply put can anything be definite.....
Oh, but hang on apparently our universe is possibly finite..... A definition on Wikipedia states that the universe is defined as everything that exists, (has existed, and will exist).....
Ok, but then there is also a possibility that other universes also exist......
What if our universe is in fact a charged ion within an atom located on the toe of a gigantic turtle traveling through space eternally to an unknown destination (Thanks Terry Prachett)....
Or is all and everything just a queue (abstract data type)
Me thinks that humans know little about nothing and the story of a God is much easier to understand, and just as probable......
that is if probability really exists....
And just as an afterthought if probability is the basis for all science..... and does truly exist......... then it may be interesting to note that some scientists have put the probability of man ceasing to exist within the next 100 years at 20%, thus there is a probability that we will probably never know all the possibilities that are possible.........
