Today in modern vernacular the word "kamikaze" has come to mean "so reckless in behaviour and actions as to be suicidal. In 1281 a typhoon saved Japan from devastaion, when it destroyed a threatening Mongol navy, and the term kami=devine, kazi=wind, became kamikazi i.e. devine wind. A myth was born.
By 1944 Japan has experienced several smashing military defeats and in desperation ,introduced the concept and myth of Kamikaze, whereby naive young men, as pilots, were used to inflict grevious damage on the "enemy". And indeed, the kamikaze pilots did inflict a lot of damage, 2800 kamikaze attacks sunk 34 allied ships. The kamikaze actions were those of a desperate government , desperate to try anything, anything to prolong defeat. The Japanese military understood that many wars are long lost before the armistice.
More and more it has become clear to all thinking people, that for SA to have a rosy future, we need investments, foreign invesments and lots of it. Investments mean infrastructure, schools, factories and Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Our mines and our minerals are not enough.
And yet, the ANC at every turn, tramples and spits of foreign investments, especially from western countries. Just lately the ANC government has cancelled bilateral investment agreements with Spain, Belguim, Luxembourg and Germany. This means that Germany for example which has invested 81 Billion in SA, now has no state garanty that she will get her money back. Would you do further business with someone who cancelled a garanty agreement.? Not on your life.
Lets move onto Saldana Bay event where Helen Zille and Jacob Zuma were to speak in front of an audience of foreign investors. The ANC bussed in its supporters to boo down Helen Zille and Jacob Zuma did not lift a pinkie to stop them!!! As Helen Zille tweeted "more jobs down the drain"
Onward to "affirmative looting" in Cape Town. Caught on camera, recorded by by reporters, the ANC is trying to (excuse me for the pun) "poo poo it all down to a loose canon from amongst their midst" It is as clear as mud that the ANC is trying to kamikaze the W.Cape.
To hell with the people of SA as long as a small elite group of ANCs stay rich and in power. No tactic is too low.
In all these dark moments let us not forget that the kamikaze actions of 1944 Japan, were actions of a desperate government who knew that they were on the wrong side of history and that their time was up. Let us also not forget, Japan lost this war, with enormous consequences.
